Cybersecurity training in Aberdeen and Grays Harbor

Cybersecurity training here is practical teaching for you and your staff, so you are ready before something happens. I cover passwords, phishing, and safe remote work in plain language. I also help a business prepare for an incident. I am Xander Johnstone of Olympic Digital Solutions in Aberdeen.

This is not a slide deck written for a different industry. I ask how the office actually works, then I teach the habits that match that. A session usually covers how to spot a fake login page, what to do with a surprise password reset, and how remote access should be turned off when the day is over. Owners and staff can sit in the same session. If someone already clicked a bad link or handed over a code, the next step may be scam prevention or computer repair, not another class.

Preparation means getting the business ready for an incident before it happens. I am not describing certification-exam tutoring on this page. My own certificates are CompTIA Security+, GIAC GSEC, GCIH, GWAPT, GFACT, and Microsoft MCP. They are listed on the About page. I have more than 10 years in IT, including the US Navy and networks for healthcare clinics and city government.

If the everyday need is accounts, email, and backups rather than a class, start with small business IT. The two pieces often go together. A short class does not replace a backup that has never been tested.
